Students at Brookfield Community School were captivated by tales of adventures and perseverance when Bear Grylls visited their school.
The school won an exclusive school visit from Bear back in 2019 when they ran their Readathon and raised a fabulous £500. Having been postponed several times because of the pandemic, we were thrilled to finally arrange Bear’s virtual visit to the school in Chesterfield. Bear surprised students when he said he didn’t particularly excel at school; he encouraged pupils to have a go at everything and anything, and whatever they do, to keep on trying.
Pupils had a chance to ask Bear some of their own questions.
