The Asparagus Bunch

Jessica Scott-Whyte

A great middle-grade debut written from the perspective of a neurodiverse 13 year old boy. The book highlights the initial difficulties of making friends and surviving at school which most children can identify with. We get a clear insight into life as a neurodiverse young person, covering Aspergers syndrome, autism and dyslexia. It is a witty book with lots of irony and unusual sweets.
