Gerry Durkin

Gerry is our Read for Good storyteller in Royal Aberdeen’s Children’s Hospital, Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow, Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh and the Great North Children’s Hospital, Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Gerry is a storyteller who has been working as a freelance professional since 2002. He tells stories from many traditions and cultures and brings humour and music into this mix. He is Bookstart Music Champion for South Lanarkshire and the Storyteller in Residence for the National Museums of Scotland.
