Gerry Durkin

Gerry is our Read for Good storyteller in Royal Aberdeen’s Children’s Hospital, the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow, the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People, Edinburgh and the Great North Children’s Hospital, Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Gerry has been working as a freelance professional storyteller since 2002. He tells stories from many traditions and cultures, and brings humour and music into this mix. He is Bookstart Music Champion for South Lanarkshire and the Storyteller in Residence for the National Museums of Scotland.
