Our work in Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales, Cardiff

Our service providing books and storyteller visits for the children of Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales, Cardiff started in 2015. We send 120 brand new books to the hospital every six weeks or so, along with a visit from resident Storyteller, Michael.

As well as our normal supply of carefully-chosen, brand new books, we also send Welsh language books to Noah’s Ark, recognising the importance the Welsh heritage.

“Thank you so much!!!! I was getting concerned all my son wanted to do was watch DVDs and play electronic games. Now he wants to read.”

Young patients, their families and the staff at Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital love their visits from our super-smiley storyteller, Michael, who delights patients with his tall tales and surprising stories. You’d be amazed at the stories children create with Michael, inspired by his bag of random objects!
