Manchester’s One Million Minutes Challenge!

Between 30th of October and 10th of November 2023, Read for Good are once again partnering with Read Manchester to challenge schools and the wider community across the city to read…but with a twist!

Building upon the incredible success of the Manchester Citywide Readathon in 2019, we’re setting the city’s children the challenge of reading for One Million Minutes! Our exciting One Million Minutes Challenge makes all reading count using our free online tool, Track My Read®!

Click on the link below for Track My Read – you’ll find a User Guide and all the information you need to set your school up. You can start using Track My Read with pupils now, just join the Manchester Challenge when it starts at the end of October – we’ll publish details here nearer the time.

If you have any questions about the Manchester One Million Minutes Challenge, please email Holly on holly@readforgood.org. Holly will be hosting a Track My Read® CPD session before the One Million Minutes Challenge begins, on Wednesday 4th October at 4pm on Zoom.

Join us in Readathon®

Why not run a Readathon to support your Track My Read – and help get books to children in the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. Pupils read whatever they love and raise money to buy books for children in hospital. With vibrant, high-quality resources inside each kit, reading becomes even more exciting.
