“Discovering a love for books and reading not only broadened my horizons as a kid but also whisked me off to other worlds. A good book is a retreat, a resource and a friend. It is my pleasure to support the incredible Readathon Challenge, I cannot wait to hold my event and hope it inspires many young people to discover a deep and lifelong love for reading.”

*All schools who order a kit by 07/03/2024 to run Readathon during 2023-2024 will be eligible for the live event and will also be sent a recording of the event shortly afterwards to watch and share within their school at a convenient time.

Read for Good’s Joseph Coelho event celebrates reading for pleasure with the charity World Book Day, who promote reading for pleasure, offering every child and young person the opportunity to have a book of their own. Read for Good shares their aim to encourage children, from all backgrounds, to develop a life-long habit of reading for pleasure.
