In memory of Adam
In memory of Adam
Adam was our first Young Ambassador and was instrumental in bringing Readathon books and stories to Leeds Children’s Hospital. Adam spent over half of his young life in hospital and communicated only by blinking. He was a great advocate for reading and shared the importance of our work regularly on Twitter.
Adam said:
“Good books are as important as good doctors when you are in hospital. One makes your body better and the other your soul.”
Adam sadly passed away in 2015 but his legacy continues.
