Fundraise for us and help change children’s lives!
Taking on a fundraising event is brilliant fun and really rewarding. The funds you raise will brighten the days of children in hospitals across the UK, and bring the magic of books and stories of some of the most disadvantaged children.
However you choose to fundraise is completely up to you, from Bake Sales to Book Sales and Readathons to Marathons – get as creative as you like!
Here are our 4 simple steps to amazing fundraising:
Some people have the perfect idea for fundraising that works for them, and others might need a bit more inspiration. No matter how you feel, we’ve got an A-Z of Fundraising Ideas resource that can help you get creative.
Get in touch…
Once you’ve had a think about your fundraising event, get in touch with us! Just email Jenny, the Fundraising and Project Officer, at firstname.lastname@example.org to start chatting about your ideas and how we can help you bring them to life.
After you’ve let us know what you plan on doing, the next step is to get your fundraising page up and running. This is where the magic happens, and how the funds can be collected directly for Read for Good. We use a platform called Enthuse, which is super easy to use, and really similar to other fundraising pages you might have used in the past. If you have any questions though, just get in touch.
You’ve chosen your event, you’ve spoken to us, you’ve set up the page – so what’s next? Get talking about it, obviously! Whether it’s sharing your fundraising page on Facebook with friends, messaging your Mum, or WhatsApping your walking group – as long as you’re talking about your challenge, there’s no wrong way to do it! Shout loud and proud about what you’re doing and watch those donations roll in.
Thank you for taking on a challenge for Read for Good, it means the world to us and the children whose lives will be changed through the magic of books and stories. We can’t wait to work with you.
If you have any questions, just email Jenny, the Fundraising and Project Officer, at email@example.com
