Walker Books and Read for Good are SUPER excited to announce that the third annual MICHAEL ROSEN DAY will take place on THURSDAY 12 NOVEMBER. And we would love you to join us to celebrate the nation’s favourite funny poet in this unmissable celebration of poetry and stories!
WHAT. A. YEAR. Michael Rosen has had so far, turning 80 and winning the Hans Christian Andersen Award for Writing, the most prestigious accolade for a children’s author. We’ve been celebrating all year, so, in the National Year of Reading, it’s only right that this should be the biggest and best Michael Rosen Day yet.
This year, school will be getting the Michael Rosen treatment, and our theme for children across the land to have fun with is Silly School Stuff – whether there’s No Breathing in Class or a school Dinner Disaster, so don’t miss out!
