Zero Override

Steve Cole

At a glance

Imagine a future, maybe not too far away, where our lives are wholly ruled by AI, and where AI is controlled by powerful people or bots. Such is the premise for this new high octane thriller. It’s gripping and terrifying in equal measure. 13 year old Zero lives in a secret bunker with other teen hackers. Together they are the Robin Hoods of their time as they remove millions of pounds so as to redistribute societal wealth. However, when Zero discovers he is being followed by a “Synth”, a new type of sentient robot just as the framework controlling their world begins to fail, then action is needed.

This is magnificent! It’s a fast-paced, sit on the edge of your set read. Definitely a book to put into the hands of readers who prefer action rather than character driven plots.
It’s for fans of books such as Alex Rider and Cherub and very definitely for readers who enjoy the language of coding – there were times when it was beyond me!! Highly recommended.
