I would give this book three stars as it was a very long build up and the main plot was in the last few chapters which then made it feel like the ending was rushed. The ending of the book was very anti climatic. The mystery side of the book felt very predictable which made the book itself unclear. I felt the ending of this book didn’t answer any of the questions that were created in the readers mind while reading the book.
I liked that this story had great friendships evolve throughout, also I liked the fact that the children’s characters were normal everyday kids. I would recommend this book to 7- 12-year-olds.
