Mermedusa is a perfect blend of mystery, adventure and suspense. It’s midwinter again in Eerie-on-Sea and Herbie is disturbed by his dreams and the Eerie Hum which reverberates through the town. Can he and Vi get to the bottom of it? Thomas Taylor creates an atmospheric story full of twists and turns where we find out more about Mr Mollusc, Sebastian Eels and we meet Mermedusa. Plus the legendary Malamander returns!!
Fantasy is not my usual go-to but this series had me hooked and the arrival of the trio of podcasters definitely gave me Only Murders in the Building vibes! Highly recommended for KS2. It can be read as a standalone but it is well worth starting at the beginning and losing yourself in the magic and mystery of Eerie-on-Sea.
