Anisha Accidental Detective – Holiday Adventure
Serena Patel, illustrated by Emma McCann
What’s not to love about having a granny that flies down zip wires, a pool with a wave machine and a host of other fun things at a holiday park? Not only that but everything Anisha does is overlooked by a statue of a giant white duck!
This is one of a fabulous series featuring Anisha and her family and friends. This tale sees them on holiday at an activity park where Anisha would really rather sit and read her book. However, a sense of fairness and loyalty to her new friend Cleo sees her take on trying to solve the mystery of who vandalised a large duck, and why!
This is such a fun series. Wonderful illustrations by Emma McCann are on every page along with the occasional footnote and a variety of fonts that make for a fresh appealing layout. A must for all young budding detectives.
